Outline, Morgan Freeman performed Nelson Mandela, who was President of South Africa, he was first black people’s president and he was in prison. He challenged to come back international stage for success Rugby world cup in 1995 because the country shut out of international stage by Apartheid. Rugby was popular sports by only Caucasians. However, all of nations will be support national team Springboks. It was real story in 1995.

あらすじ。モーガン・フリーマン演じるネルソン・マンデラ大統領はかつて刑務所に入っていたこともある南アフリカ初の黒人の大統領、アパルトヘイトによって国際舞台から締め出されてしまった母国をラグビー・ワールドカップの成功によって国際舞台への復帰を目指す。白人に人気のあるラグビーだったが、大統領自ら応援することによって次第に国が一つになって行く。1995年の実話が元になっています。
